Laura Fernandez

Laura is passionate about grassroots work supporting communities and the environment. Laura brings extensive international, climate and environmental nonprofit experience in philanthropy and civil society advocacy spaces. Prior to joining the Goldman Environmental Prize, where she manages grantmaking, networking, and Prize winner security, Laura was a program officer at the Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment, where she facilitated millions of dollars in grants for water protection, community stewardship, and environmental justice across CA and the Pacific Northwest.
