Sheridan Moore, PhD

Dr. Sheridan Moore is a Remote Sensing Scientist focused on visible and near-infrared imagery with over 10 years of experience. She is currently a Senior Technical Consultant at Esri, the global market leader in geographic information system software. Previously she studied rocks on Mars (with the MSL Curiosity Rover Team), hunted for meteorites in the Antarctic (with NASA’s Antarctic Search for Meteorites program), and strove to answer the nation’s toughest problems (as a strategic partner for the space enterprise). At the core, what drives her work is her desire to make an impact through day-to-day encounters: a smile that turns the day around for a passerby, providing a technical fix that helps a customer deliver their best product, or being a mentor to lead students down their desired paths.
