Julie Rene Tran

Julie Rene Tran is a music executive who has dedicated her entire career to championing rising artists. With nearly 15 years of experience in marketing, PR and management, she spearheaded campaigns for talent including keshi, UMI, Mariah the Scientist, Eric Nam, Bas, Duckwrth and more. Currently leading global PR and marketing for TEAM WANG and H1GHR MUSIC, Julie is also at the forefront of amplifying Asian voices. From Jackson Wang to Epik High, JAY B, Rich Brian, Keith Ape, KATIE and Higher Brothers, Julie has been instrumental in many artists' US crossover. A first generation Vietnamese American, Julie grew up on the chopped and screw scene of her hometown, Houston, and although she now calls Bed-Stuy home, she still believes Southern rap is superior.
