Ginger Chien is a device architect at AT&T. She is responsible for defining technical requirements for mobile devices in the areas of security, protocols, and new features and guides the integration of these evolving technologies into new devices. Ginger has an M.S. degree from Princeton University and a B.S. degree from the University of Washington, both in electrical engineering with emphasis on communications theory and signal processing. She currently volunteers for LEAGUE (the AT&T LGBTQ employee resource group) and is a board member of a local PFLAG chapter. She frequently speaks to corporations and schools on diversity and inclusion best-practices and her transgender experience.
