Embla Vigfúsdóttir

Embla is a talented designer and illustrator and brings a creative mind to the city of Reykjavík’s Innovation Team (i-team_. Situated in city hall, the i-team works closely with colleagues in city government, offering them a different set of tools and techniques to innovate more effectively. Embla brings her skills into collaboration with the i-team to capture residents’ stories and experiences as part of the innovation research process, improve the design and experience of city prototypes, and create visual prompts that engage residents in co-creating new services. Embla holds a bachelor’s degree in Product Design from Listaháskóli Íslands and a master’s degree in Games and Interaction from the Royal Danish Academy.
