Jerome Chen

Jerome Chen is an Academy Award-nominated senior visual effects supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks. He recently directed IN VAULTED HALLS ENTOMBED and LUCKY 13, two episodes of Netflix’s critically-acclaimed animated anthology LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS.

Jerome served as visual effects supervisor on MEN IN BLACK: INTERNATIONAL, JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE, SUICIDE SQUAD, FURY, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. He was also senior visual effects supervisor on BEOWULF and THE POLAR EXPRESS. He earned his first Academy Award nomination for the groundbreaking visual effects in STUART LITTLE, which introduced the first all-digital character to star in a live action film, a recognition of his innovations in digital lighting, compositing, fur and cloth.
