Mary Mitkish

I am the Assistant Program Manager and Communications Lead for NASA Harvest. NASA Harvest is NASA’s Global Food Security and Agriculture Program, operating as a multidisciplinary and multisectoral Consortium of leading scientists and agricultural stakeholders, led by researchers at the University of Maryland and implemented together with partners across the globe. NASA Harvest’s mission is to enable and advance adoption of satellite Earth observations by public and private organizations to benefit food security, agriculture, and human and environmental resilience worldwide. Harvest adheres to a community-based approach to solving today’s most pressing food system challenges using today's most advanced satellite technology. I am responsible for partner and stakeholder engagement, project management, tracking and communicating Consortium-wide activities and deliverables, administrative coordination, and digital content management.
