Romi Lifshitz
Romi Lifshitz is an award-winning innovator and creator working to solve humanity’s toughest problems with Quantum Computing (QC). She has worked on creating near-term quantum algorithms using ML at the University of Toronto, and has conducted pioneering research in quantum algorithms for large-scale climate modeling at PASQAL, one of the world’s leading QC companies. She is currently at the Weizmann Institute of Science researching the power and security of quantum computers. Romi has peer-reviewed publications with Johns Hopkins Hospital in Transplantation, and with McMaster University on a potential therapeutic for Alzheimer’s disease. She also educates university students about various innovation strategies. Using her interdisciplinary background in the sciences and liberal arts, she brings new ideas and perspectives to solving current challenges from a technical and societal standpoint.
