Gita Pensa

Dr. Gita Pensa, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Brown University, has been an emergency physician in diverse settings for over twenty years. She is also executive editor and co-host of the subscription medical podcast UC Max (of parent company EM:RAP), host and editor of AEM Early Access (a research journal podcast), and the creator of ‘Doctors and Litigation: The L Word’, a podcast educating physicians about the opaque and often-traumatic world of medical malpractice litigation. Dr. Pensa is widely regarded as an expert on physician litigation stress, speaks nationally on the topic, and also serves as a support coach for physician defendants. She has won numerous awards for teaching and mentoring, including the National Mentor of the Year Award from the EMRA.
