Mason Spector

Mason Spector is the co-founder of Madhappy, a Los Angeles based streetwear brand with a mental health-inspired mission. From a young age, Mason always felt like life was a little harder for him than it seemed to be for others. After his first apparel venture failed, Mason looked inwards to tap into the duality of his lifelong struggles with mental illness - the good and the bad, the mad and the happy. Mason launched Madhappy alongside his former partner to create the first streetwear brand with an emphasis on optimism, reducing the stigma around mental illness one hoodie at a time. Now a booming business, Madhappy's success has only encouraged its founders to double down on their mission - donating hundreds of thousands to mental health non-profits to date.
