Shay Jasper

Roots N Blues festival co-owner/Producer Shay Jasper hails from New Haven, Missouri and is the daughter of a factory worker and retired laborer-- both also hobby cattle farmers. She was hired as the press intern of Roots N Blues Festival in March 2014. In July of 2017, she was named Assistant Director of Roots N Blues and in late 2019, became a co-owner/Producer of the event along with business partner, Tracy Lane. Roots N Blues made headlines by booking only women on the 2021 festival lineup.
