Terry Young is the founder and CEO of sparks & honey, a technology-led consultancy delivering growth, innovation and transformation strategies for global organizations through the lens of culture. Terry launched sparks & honey to help organizations stay relevant, build preferable futures and drive business by using a unique mix of cultural intelligence from its proprietary AI-driven platform, Q™, a global network of business strategists, and a C-Suite Advisory Board to identify emerging cultural and industry shifts.
Terry is a speaker and commentator on critical topics shaping the future of modern organizations. His insights are often featured in The New York Times, Fast Company, and Forbes and on stage in front of The World Economic Forum, The Council on Foreign Relations and U.S. Congressional Summit on LGBTQ Entrepreneurship. He will be on the stage at SXSW this March exploring strategies to support Trans and Nonbinary people in business. Terry also tackles subjects including the future of work, equity and diversity, the rise of Generation Z, artificial intelligence, future of advertising and precision data.
Before starting sparks & honey, Terry consulted with companies across China at McKinsey & Co., helped build the digital startup SixtyFootSpider, led agencies within Omnicom and IPG and volunteered for 27 months in Uralsk, Kazakhstan with the United States Peace Corps.
