Angela Ruggiero
Angela Ruggiero is widely known as one of the best women's ice hockey players in history. She is a 4-time Olympian (winning one bronze, two silver, and one gold medal) and 4-time World Champion with Team USA. She was also the first woman to actively play in a regular season professional hockey game in North America at a position other than goalie. After an outstanding career on the ice, Ruggiero pursued excellence in a different realm, attending both the University of Minnesota and Harvard Business School to further her business knowledge. Since graduating, Ruggiero has taken on many unique roles in the industry. Among them include Chief Strategy Officer for the successful Los Angeles 2028 Candidature Committee’s bid to host the 2028 Olympics, a Senior Management Associate at one of the largest hedge funds in the world (Bridgewater Associates), a New Business Consultant for NBC Sports, and a Director at the New York Islanders Hockey Club. Currently, Angela is the co-founder and CEO of a sports market research company called Sports Innovation Lab.
