Manish Raghavan
Manish Raghavan is the Drew Houston (2005) Career Development Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Before that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard Center for Research on Computation and Society (CRCS), working with Cynthia Dwork. He completed his PhD at the Computer Science department at Cornell University, advised by Jon Kleinberg. He serves on the International Advisory Board of Sai University in Chennai. During graduate school, he was supported by an NSF GRFP award, a Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship, and a Cornell University Fellowship. His thesis, “The Societal Impacts of Algorithmic Decision-Making,” received the 2021 ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award.
