Jamira Burley is Human Rights Activist and Social Impact Strategist with a passion for work that lives at the intersection of community, policy, and social philanthropy. Over the last 17 years, her work has taken her across the United States and 30+ countries working with collective impact teams representing business, government, and youth leaders to make an equitable change that centers on the lived experiences of directly impacted people. Currently, Jamira Worldwide Education Strategic Initiatives Lead at Apple and cofounder of IAMHERETO. Before joining Apple, Jamira was the Director of Social Impact North America at adidas.
In addition, Jamira is a Civic Media Lab Fellow at USC Annenberg Innovation Lab, Schultz Fellow at Summit, and a previous Director's Fellow at MIT Media Lab. She was honored by the Obama White House as a Champion of Change and Forbes Under 30 Honoree in Law and Policy.
