Jennifer Fried

Jennifer Fried is a healthcare investor and operator based in the Chicago area passionate about using technology to solve the most pressing problems in healthcare. She is the previous founder/CEO of Explorer Surgical, a software platform for surgical and interventional procedures, which was venture-backed until its sale to GHX in 2021. Jennifer has been investing in healthcare across stages, from pre-seed to growth, and has been investing in women's health since 2018. Jennifer is a Partner at Portfolia's FemTech Fund I and Fund II where she has led investments including Willow, Nest Collaborative and Proov.
