Stacey Matlen

As Director of Innovation Programs with the Transit Innovation Partnership, Stacey works with transit agencies to understand their challenges and recruits startups to introduce new technologies to help solve those challenges. Stacey has a public sector, startup and public health background: she previously worked with the City of Detroit’s Office of Mobility Innovation where she led the successful launch of multiple pilots, including Night Shift—a first/last mile ride sharing credit for late-night commuting, Microtransit—an employer based on-demand shuttle program, and three COVID-response programs - transportation to COVID-19 testing sites, vaccination sites, and essential employment locations.
