Mike Wojnar
Mike has served as transportation policy advisor to Members of Congress and three Governors over the last two decades. He led the “Fix NYC” advisory panel that generated the blueprint for New York City’s first-in-the-nation congestion pricing program to reduce traffic in Manhattan’s core and provide funding for mass transit. In addition to managing implementation of the congestion pricing program, Mike spearheads innovation and sustainability issues for MTA, North America's largest transit system. He joined MTA in 2020 after serving more than seven years in the Governor’s office, departing as Deputy Secretary for Transportation, the state’s top transportation post. He oversaw one of the most diverse portfolios in state government, managing six agencies, serving in the Cabinet and on the statewide Emergency Response Team. He began his career on Capitol Hill as press secretary to Congressman Mike McNulty, then joined the Washington Office of the Governor of New York, serving as Associate Director for Federal Policy. More recently, he served on President Biden’s Infrastructure Policy Advisory Committee for the 2020 campaign.
