Carla Tieppo

A PhD in Science from USP, she believes in the value of neuroscientific knowledge in different contexts, from the training of basic education teachers to the development of leaders in the organizational environment. She has a particular interest in the mechanisms of decision-making processes and the action and modulation of emotional and social brain systems in different circumstances. She is CEO of Ilumne Consultoria em Desenvolvimento Humano e Organizacional and a founding partner of Educação Inédita Soluções Educacionais. She coordinates graduate courses in the area of neuroscience at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de SP in partnership with the Conectomus Institute. In 2019, she published the book "Uma Viagem pelo Cérebro – A Via Rápida para Entender Neurociência" (A Journey Through the Brain - The Fast Lane to Understanding Neuroscience), which sold 6,000 copies in its Portuguese edition.
