Pamela Short

Pamela Short is a nurse, an educator, and a mental health advocate. She serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Auburn University College of Nursing, Auburn, AL, where she teaches Professional Concepts of Mental Health Nursing to undergraduate students seeking their Bachelor of Science degree. She teaches in the classroom and simulation settings. Pamela is the Director of Kenny's Kouncil, a nonprofit organization created to assist individuals who are encountering mental health challenges and seeking assistance. She is a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and provides information regarding resources and self-care to individuals seeking knowledge for personal and professional purposes. Mental Health First Aid equips individuals with the tools needed to identify signs and symptoms of those experiencing mental health challenges.
