Thalia Patrinos
Thalia has traveled the world on a quest to make science accessible through storytelling: to South Africa on a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship, to Philadelphia to teach math in middle school, to Washington DC, where she resides today to strategize communications at NASA Headquarters. Some of her proudest accomplishments include creating the Faces of NASA photo series, managing the agency’s diverse portfolio of podcasts, and leading digital efforts for our Artemis missions to the Moon. Outside of work, she is a freelance writer/artist and the creator of the Spacecraft Tarot, a card deck for folks fascinated by the shapes in the sky. Thalia’s love for storytelling extends beyond words and into movement, leading a circus troupe of acrobats and fire dancers called Luciole Liberation.
