Walt Feimer

Walt brings 37 years of experience in 3D computer animation for the science/technology community to telling NASA’s science stories. Walt is currently the Manager for NASA’s Conceptual Image Lab (CIL) at the Goddard Space Flight Center and leads a team of animators producing award-winning animations for the science, technology, education, and public outreach communities. Walt and artists in CIL work closely with the world's leading astronomers, scientists, and engineers to bring theory, design, and concepts to life in a scientifically accurate and visually compelling way. CIL's artists blend art and science together using a wide range of materials, techniques, and software, to meet the challenges of developing all phases of production to create animation designed to educate and entertain.
