She has spent the last three decades defining the essence of Fortune 500 companies through a tool called the brief—a simple, sharp expression of purpose used to keep brands anchored in who they are while giving them a springboard for action and innovation. In 2010 she wrote a brief for her life, and everything changed—her career, her marriage, her parenting and herself. She named it the Life Brief and has been teaching audiences around the globe how to write their own, including through a standing-room-only talk at this year’s SXSW. In January 2024 Simon & Schuster will launch The Life Brief: A Playbook for No-Regrets Living, a hands-on guide for this life-changing practice.
