Paul Merryman
Paul Merryman is a film & television producer with a focus on amazing true stories and socially conscious storytelling. He holds an MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute and a BS in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of Texas at Austin. He started his career as an assistant to visionary film director Sam Raimi and quickly worked his way up the ladder. Following several years as Sam’s development executive, he branched out on his own as an independent producer, producing the critically acclaimed Afghanistan War film THE OUTPOST, directed by Rod Lurie and starring Scott Eastwood, Caleb Landry Jones, and Orlando Bloom. He has over 15 projects in development for both film and television, and most recently line produced and managed production for the independent feature films MATCH ME IF YOU CAN, starring Georgina Reilly and Wilson Bethel, and CLOCK, starring Dianna Agron, Melora Hardin, and Saul Rubinek.
