Jason is an award-winning creative director who has been at Microsoft for over twenty years. He spent the first half of his career as the Studio Art Director for the Microsoft Games Studios group responsible for multiple PC and Xbox titles including the Flight Simulator franchise. In the second half of his career, Jason has spent his time focused on the innovation and incubation of emerging technologies focused on presence, ranging from puppeteering avatars, to volumetric capture, and now Holoportation. He has worked in Mixed Reality for Microsoft since the development of HoloLens 1.0.vAn avid painter, Jason spends his off hours in front of an easel both in and out-of-doors, mired in oil paint.
