Sarah Noble

Dr. Noble earned her BS in Geology, from the University of Minnesota in 1998, and her PhD in Geological Sciences from Brown University in 2004. Prior to coming to NASA Headquarters, she spent time as a researcher studying lunar rocks and soils at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Marshall Space Flight Center, and Goddard Space Flight Center, as well as a brief stint working for Congress.

Dr. Noble is the Lead for Lunar Science within the Planetary Science Division. She is the Lunar Science Lead for Artemis. She is also the Program Scientist for the Psyche, VIPER (Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover), and Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter missions. She is a member of the Space Camp Hall of Fame and Asteroid 133432 Sarahnoble is named in her honor.
