Shah is an independent film producer and the CEO of Create Entertainment, headquartered in New York City and is represented by United Talent Agency (UTA).

His recent films include the 20th Century Fox and Netflix release Money, starring Kellan Lutz, Jesse Williams, Jamie Bamber and Jess Weixler which won 23 awards worldwide and The Crash starring Oscar Nominee Minnie Driver, Ed Westwick, Frank Grillo, Dianna Agron, Anna Sophia Robb, Maggie Q and John Leguizamo. The Crash was sold by CAAand released theatrically January 2017.

He produced and subsequently sold his first television show, Brown Nation to Netflix worldwide in 2016 and recently wrapped filming on a romantic comedy titled Remember Me, a US, Spain and French co-production starring Bruce Dern, Brian Cox and Sienna Guillory. Create wrapped post-production on The Buried Girl in Upstate NY starring Oona Lawrence, Elizabeth Mitchell, Brandon Larracuente, Yetide Badaki and James Ransone.

His debut feature An Act of War won four awards during its festival run, and was released on Netflix June, 2015. His other titles include Monsoon and the WW2 documentary Forgive Don’t Forget, both available on Hulu and Amazon Prime.

He completed his education at George Washington University in Washington, DC where he majored in International Business. Prior to his film career, he held various roles at prominent finance and technology firms including Thomson Reuters and TheLadders.com.

Shah teaches Film Finance and Production at the Independent Filmmakers Project (IFP) in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
