General Manager of the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. She combines this activity with university teaching, being co-director of the master’s degree in Fantastic Film at the Open University of Catalonia, and writing. She has more than a dozen published titles of an informative nature. She has a degree in Communication Sciences and in Advertising and Public Relations; she is also a researcher in Multimedia Engineering and is currently working on a thesis on film festivals and film marketing.
In relation to the cinema, she has extensive experience since in 2004 she assumed the communication direction of the Sitges, International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. Next, she worked in international audiovisual promotion and in the evaluation of film festivals. Currently, at the Sitges Film Festival, she is also responsible for the industry program and the development of projects with international links such as Sitges Cocoon, which explores the convergences between technology and audiovisual production, or WomanInFan, a program for the visibility and incorporation of creative women into the fantastic filmography.
