Will Quiney
Will is a multi-award winning music supervisor with over 15 years experience in the film industry. Beginning his music supervision career in London, Will became the first trailer supervisor in the UK, working on hundreds of film marketing campaigns at Empire Design. In 2017 Will was offered a position at creative agency Mob Scene in Los Angeles as senior theatrical supervisor working for clients including Sony, Fox and Disney. Will then joined acclaimed film marketing agency GrandSon as Director of music. During his three years he worked on a multitude of prestigious award-winning creative projects, soundtracking campaigns such as Roma, Downton Abbey, Uncut Gems, Euphoria, Moonlight, Atlanta and The Green Knight. In 2021 he won a Golden Trailer award for Best music for Netflix's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and a Music & Sound Award and a Golden Trailer Award for Best music for Apple+’s Oscar winning CODA as well as three Clio trailer music awards for A24 titles, Uncut Gems, Waves and Zola.
In tandem with trailer supervision, Will was invited by Matthew Vaughn to bring his music creative skills to his breakout 2010 action comedy feature Kick-Ass. This launched Will’s feature supervision career and he continued to supervise further films including Kick-Ass 2 and Adam Randall’s acclaimed indie horror, I See You. 2022 saw Will return to London joining Redfive as senior music supervisor focussed on Feature Films and TV supervision. He has just completed supervising Damian Szifron’s new feature Misanthrope starring Shailene Woodley and Ben Mendelsohn. Will also launched his own Trailer Music sync company, Acid Music, creating tracks for sync in the Trailer industry.
