Kiira Benzing
Kiira Benzing is a multi-dimensional director crossing the mediums of theatre, hybrid cinema and XR. She is the founder of Double Eye Studios and select credits include: Runnin’, Finding Pandora X and Skits & Giggles. Finding Pandora X (VR Theater –Best VR Immersive User Experience, Venice Film Festival 2020; Virtual Cinema Audience Award SXSW 2021), Skits & Giggles (first VR Variety Show), Loveseat (VR Theater - Venice Film Festival 2019). For her interactive VR experience Runnin’ starring Reggie Watts, she was the first VR director to film on the Intel Studios volumetric capture stage (Sundance 2019, Jury Award for Interactive at SXSW 2019, Kaohsiung Film Festival 2021). VR & AR: Cardboard City (XR Documentary, NYFF 2016, Samsung Gear VR) and Metropoles (multiplayer VR). Film credits: Diptych (Dance on Camera 2018), Hilda (Tribeca Film Festival 2017). Double Eye is the dedicated production partner for Embodied Labs focusing on character-driven stories that humanize healthcare.
