Finding Tech Talent in Unexpected Places

Today, 53% of US adults have a level of education in-between a high school degree and 4 year college degree, yet they are often shut out of well-paying jobs of the future. This panel illuminates the impending monumental shifts in corporate America’s approach to hiring, training and supporting talent, especially for tech jobs. By diving deep into labor market data, hearing from corporate leaders who have taken new approaches to hiring tech talent, and centering voices of underrepresented people who took alternative routes in their careers, this session will fundamentally change the way you think about growing your workforce. Learn how the American Heartland may hold the key to unlocking more diverse and undiscovered tech talent pools.
