Driving Inclusivity in Immersive Experience Design

Date TBA

Communal experiences in physical and virtual spaces are highly impactful, with power to galvanize people, break down borders and foster a sense of agency and inclusion. As experience designers, technologists and curators striving to create engaging immersive experiences across platforms and mediums, we share a mandate to design for inclusivity and accessibility. But democratizing access is one thing; authentically inviting in a wide spectrum of users is harder to achieve. When we approach experience design with the mission of building inclusive communities, we can unlock the true power of shared immersive experiences: co-creation of unique emergent narratives; influence on and ownership of the shared space; and infinite possibilities for evolution, yielding longevity and ongoing impact.
