Hacking Beauty for Accessibility
The Estée Lauder Companies’ collective vision is to be the most inclusive and diverse beauty company in the world. This vision is brought to life by its technology team which, has focused their annual Hackathon on accessible beauty with the goal of developing solutions that optimize the lives of those with different abilities, making luxury beauty more accessible to all.
People with disabilities represent a community of approximately 1 billion people around the world and despite holding billions in spending power, the beauty industry has largely ignored them.
This talk will highlight how ELC has built a culture that prioritizes accessibility at every step and how it hopes to bring these ideas to life.
