The world can benefit from the crypto ecosystem and technology supporting it: Blockchain technology removes the need for centralized processes and intermediaries, and transactions can become more efficient and transparent. We can enable innovation while protecting consumers and maintaining financial stability. But we should not underestimate crypto’s risks – it requires global coordination and joint international principles. In this panel, transatlantic experts discuss how the European Union and United States can lead the way on a shared international approach to crypto.
