Digital disruption impacted nearly every aspect of work and culture even before the world shut down. The pandemic fueled the fire, accelerating digitalization at an unprecedented rate.
The time for change was yesterday but many companies are still stuck with slow-moving, non-customer-centric organizational structures. What obstacles hold these companies back in this new era of work?
This session explores the benefits of migrating from a function/silo-based structure to teams organized around customer needs and journeys. It looks at new ways of working: how purpose, intrinsic motivation, and self-organization are displacing the stubborn, rigid structures from the past that are often still in place and leading the way for innovation.
