With the age of Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI’s) on the horizon, how should society and large organizations begin to leverage this nascent technology? Can we imagine a future where BCIs are implemented to enrich our lives or make us more resilient? Could they enable us to adapt to extreme environments, or science our way towards saving the world? This panel brings together a group of experts presently experimenting with different BCI use cases. They’ll discuss how they think about BCI technology being applied at scale. We will also try and draw a clear line between approaches that provide us with benefit vs stripping us of our agency and humanity. From education to work to healthcare, we need to start to understand how a top down approach to BCI technology could shape our future.
