This panel will explore the role that music plays in psychedelic healing. From traditional indigenous ceremonies to modern ketamine assisted therapy clinics, music has always played an integral role in ceremony and oftentimes, the music is just as important as the medicine. Music has also become a key component to integration, meditation and healing, and there is a new genre of conscious-expanding music and psychedelic meditations that are being developed by artists solely for this purpose. This panel will feature artists, facilitators, scientists and psychedelic leaders discussing why music is so important in the psychedelic journey, the effect music has on the brain from a scientific perspective, and why artists are being called to make music for psychedelic therapy.
