Recording: The Science and Ethics of De-Extinction, Date TBA

The 2022 blockbuster "Jurassic World: Dominion" brought dinosaurs back to the big screen, but can we bring them back to life? And, if we could, should we? U.S. National Science Foundation-supported researchers will discuss the science of de-extinction, evolution and ecology, and the ethics involved in such research. They will also talk about what we can learn from various extinct species and the conditions which led to their demise.
