Deepfakes: The Primary Threat to National Security

Recording: Deepfakes: The Primary Threat to National Security, Date TBA

From fake viral videos of President Zelenskyy to deepfaked Zoom calls that trick high-ranking government officials, deepfakes are officially a central concern for global governments and national security. This threat to global intelligence, especially during times of conflict when misinformation is rife, extends from social media to aerial satellite imagery needed for strategic military decisions. Rijul Gupta, Co-Founder/CEO of DeepMedia, will lead a panel of military and NGO experts to discuss not only the state of synthetic media today but also how individuals, businesses, and governments can prepare for the future and stay ahead of this technology.
