Adversity as an Incubator

Date TBA

Recording: Adversity as an Incubator, Date TBA

Adversity is an opportunity. We tend to shrink from or avoid it. In the moments we can no longer run, our response determines whether we will grow from or be diminished by the experience.
Jesse was sentenced to 32 years in prison at the age of 18. He was lost and his life seemed over. Yet, with the help of family, friends and mentors he learned the simple truth - that no one is just one thing and that doing the next right thing, regardless of the circumstances, is the way to move forward.
His experience inside and since getting out highlights the choices that we have and how finding or even putting ourselves in a terribly uncomfortable situation (even startups) can be the best thing that ever happened to us.
