As music production becomes increasingly reliant on the cloud, opportunities for mobile integration become much more viable to artists of all skill levels. With implementations ranging from DAW-compatible composition in the field to ML enhanced discovery tools, cloud integration for artists is expanding beyond simple “software as service” models to delivering entirely new workflows. In this panel, Ableton and Splice will discuss their latest offerings in this area, while giving us their insights into the new types of production these technologies will facilitate.
