Heard of Climatarians? They are eating and living with the planet's health in mind. Then there is the flexitarian diet, which emphasizes fruits, veggies, whole grains and plant-based protein, a smart and healthy choice. And of course, there is veganism. All of these emphasize consumers focusing on increasing intake of plant-based food. Plant-based goes beyond just being meat-free, it’s a lifestyle change for mindful eating – an impact on our health, communities, and the earth at large.
