WOMEX – Worldwide Music Expo – is one of the biggest professional music meetings for the global music scene taking place in Europe, featuring a trade fair, conferences, films and showcase concerts. WOMEX and its community aims to support and strengthen the role of culture around the globe and to spread its values through nurturing and promotion of creativity and music. 7 stages, around 700 exhibiting companies, 100+ speakers, films, an opening concert and an award ceremony across five packed networking days and rather short nights.

The WOMEX Night at Flamingo Cantina is part of a bilateral, longterm partnership between WOMEX and SXSW designed to showcase upcoming talents on a global stage and open new networking avenues between artists and music professionals.
