Kill Rock Stars is returning to Cheer Up Charlies for their SXSW showcase. Two stages and six artists on each, it will be a full night celebrating 12 of the label's current artists - Ron Gallo, Mya Byrne, Mightmare, Seán Barna, Ryan Cassata, Shaylee, Bitch, Jad Fair & The Placebos, Roanoke, Shelly Fairchild, Shutups, and Joh Chase. Kill Rock Stars has continued to celebrate independent music, punk and DIY ethos, queer-positive, feminist, anti-racist, and artist-friendly agendas throughout its 31 years. This event showcases the powerful voices currently behind it.
