The Lounge Society at Chess Club

Date TBA

With a critically acclaimed EP (‘Silk For The Starving’, 2021), and Speedy Wunderground’s fastest ever selling 7” (‘Generation Game, 2020) under their belts, Hebden Bridge’s The Lounge Society are back; returning to the studio of Dan Carey to work on their debut album 'Tired Of Liberty', which was released in August 2022.

2022 saw The Lounge Society’s live show reached endless new heights- earning them support slots with the likes of The Strokes, Wet Leg, and Fontaines D.C., and festival appearances at Wide Awake, End Of The Road, Bluedot, and London Calling (Amsterdam). That autumn, they head out on their debut headline tour of both the UK and the EU, which saw them perform at a variety of heritage venues including Village Underground (London), Gorilla (Manchester), Point Éphémère (Paris) and Paradiso (Amsterdam).

In November 2022, it was announced that Tired Of Liberty ranked no.10, in Rough Trade's Albums Of The Year List.
