Grammy Nominee 2016, La Cuneta Son Machín (Managua, 2009) is the Nicaraguan band with the greatest international projection. Currently, due to the socio-political crisis that Nicaragua has been experiencing since 2018 and the persecution of which many artists have been victims, some of its members are traveling with there music helping to heal all that pain.

La Cuneta's musical proposal is a mixture of different genres such as rock, ska, hip hop, cumbia and Nicaraguan folklore with which they seek to establish a modern rhythm accompanied by naughty and popular lyrics that keep alive the idiosyncrasy and traditions of both Nicaragua and Latin America. Throughout its career, La Cuneta has made many concert tours in Nicaragua and abroad, and participated in several music festivals of recognized international importance.
