Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson

Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson is an Icelandic director who graduated from Columbia University. He was selected as “Variety’s Ten European Directors to Watch” in 2012. His last feature Under the Tree premiered at Venice/TIFF in 2017 and was nominated to the Oscars. The film was sold to 40 territories. Northern Comfort is his fourth feature.
