Jimmy October is a national award-winning singer/songwriter / creative director from the island Trinidad & Tobago.
Born L’shun Emmanuel in East Trinidad, the young performer’s already inspiring career is proof of his rich talent and unique sound. O has opened shows for J. Cole, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Major Lazer.
He had his first international release in 2017 on Steve Aoki’s album ‘KOLONY’, with the single ‘No Time’. Since then, Jimmy October has leaned heavily into his own genre-bending New Calypso sound, after the release of his five-track EP ‘Vacation’. Him and his artistic trailblazing has been featured on FADER Magazine in 2018, and in 2019 he was named one of Complex Magazine ‘10 Artists To Watch from Trinidad And Tobago’.
His many hits include ‘Vacation’, ‘Remember The Days’ and ‘Magic’ (with Kes, featuring Etienne Charles), 'Wake Up' and his latest release for 2023 'Healing'
