After the release of her seminal single ‘Say Yeah’ early in 2020, Mnelia has been cocooned away in metamorphosis; destroying and re-building to emerge and spearhead the evolution of British R&B as we’ve never seen it before. Since 2021, Mnelia has been locked away in the studio, re-shaping her sound and honing her craft, with a renewed focus on vulnerability and authenticity. Her forthcoming project ‘Closure’ with the first single of the same name, starts as Mnelia means to go on, taking accountability into her own hands.

2022 saw an impactful resurgence for the London based artist; writing trips to LA and Stockholm, alongside an impressive build across the UK live circuit. Explosive performances at Glastonbury, Wireless Festival and Reading & Leeds has earned Mnelia's place as a standout British artist and one to watch throughout 2023.
