Kyle Kazan

Kyle Kazan is the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Glass House Brands, a vertically integrated, publicly traded California cannabis corporation ($GLASF). He began his career as a special education teacher before becoming a law enforcement officer in LA County. While serving, he dutifully participated in many arrests as a part of the “War on Drugs,” but became disillusioned by the injustice and inhumanity of the very policies he was enforcing. He soon left law enforcement and became an outspoken advocate against the drug war, working with LEAP (Law Enforcement Action Partnership) while building a successful career in real estate investment and property management.

In 2015, he co-founded the companies that would become Glass House Brands, bringing together his business acumen, love of cannabis, and care for the well-being of people. Glass House has since become the most valuable publicly traded single-state cannabis company in the U.S. After meeting Weldon Angelos, Kyle joined the Board of Directors of The Weldon Project in 2021, and he considers securing the freedom and reintegration of all nonviolent cannabis prisoners to be both a personal mission and an obligation.
